Kalimantan — A lighthearted moment occurred after Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto attended the final plenary cabinet meeting at Istana Garuda, Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara, East Kalimantan, on Friday, September 13.
Prabowo was surrounded by a group of mothers eager to take selfies with him. Among the group was Annisa Pohan, wife of Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
As the group was enjoying their photo session, First Lady Iriana Jokowi suddenly joined in. Dressed in an all-pink outfit, she quickly positioned herself at the front of the crowd next to Prabowo.
Prabowo, who was wearing a white outfit and a black peci, appeared slightly surprised by the First Lady’s presence and immediately bent down in respect.
“Where is Mr. (President Joko Widodo)? Mr. President, where is he?” Prabowo asked, turning around to look for Jokowi.
During the cabinet meeting, President Jokowi emphasized the importance of supporting the upcoming administration’s transition, ensuring that it runs smoothly and effectively.
“We must all fully support the program of the president-elect and ensure that the transition of government is effective,” said Jokowi. (RR)
